**About the Role**: As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities to lead lives of their choosing. In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering a range of services aimed at helping participants live independently, actively participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support participants in living an active lifestyle and participating in their community through person-centered support and programs.
- Implement positive behaviour strategies according to behaviour support plans.
- Assist and support participants with personal hygiene and care.
- Maintain open communication with management and families about the participant's progress.
- Undertake household tasks such as menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
- Maintain progress notes and records.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.76 - $47.14 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
