**Quick overview of the role**

Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for aiding the IT Support Team and first level support to internal stakeholders. The role will assist with the maintenance and support of the information technology systems, managing processes and assisting with day-to-day tasks. The job holder performs low level technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecommunication systems.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assist with ticket creation, maintenance, escalation, reporting and end user training, on the Ticketing System
- Assist with End user support and escalate tasks as needed
- Advise IT of upgrades, requests, improvements from business units to assist with suitable IT decisions
- Assist with creation of Purchase orders and review of vendor supplied data
- Assist with updating of IT process/policy documentation
- Be one of the first points of contact for majority of Help desk calls
- Assist with the maintenance of IT asset registers - Hardware, Mobile, Software
- Assist with technical support and training documentation
- Act as link between end users and higher-level support
- Assist with hardware and software deployments and troubleshooting
- Assist with general IT processes as required (e.g., backups, archiving, onboarding, offboarding)
- Willingness to assist with tasks, escalate tasks, expand knowledge, and share new skills
