Reporting to the General Manager - Global Forwarding and based at our modern office in Epping, you will be responsible for the operations team that provide daily coordination, direction, and successful execution to ensure the seamless delivery of customer expectations.

**What You'll Do**:

- Manage our ocean & air-freight operations in Australia
- Be accountable for the financial and operational performance
- Drive standardization, consistency, effectiveness and quality of operations
- Regular and proactive interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor individual and team performance, track progress towards objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and take corrective actions for continuous improvement
- Identify, develop and implement new ways to automate, streamline and improve operational procedures that optimize efficiency, increase revenue and enhance customer satisfaction
- Workload Planning to enable appropriate workload distribution and deadline achievement
- Manage and maintain regular communication with customer to minimize impact to business operations

**What You'll Bring**:

- Extensive working experience within the Freight Forwarding sector a MUST
- 5+ years of experience as a National Operations Manager required
- In-depth understanding of Freight Forwarding Operations with the ability to overcome adversities in the industry
- Solid experience using CargoWise1 system
- International & Local Transport experience
- Extensive team leadership experience with demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural development, and process improvement
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
