About the Company Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a national organisation that provides several direct and indirect (staffing) services to the Healthcare Sector.
We are currently experiencing a demand for skilled Support Workers to work directly with our host clients within Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Wollondilly Shire and Goulburn areasAbout The Role As a dedicated Support Worker, you will be supporting a variety of clients with Mental Health, Intellectual and physical Disabilities.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Mixture of day shifts (AM/PM), Short shifts min 3 hours/ long shifts max 8-10 hours, sleepovers, awake duties and weekends are available.
Also, must have the ultimate flexibility to accept short notice shifts.
Supporting participants with personal care & performing various household tasks including menu planning, cooking, serving meals, cleaning, shopping, and other activities of daily living.
This is a on call casual agency role, where you can manage your availability through HCA app and submit timesheets.
To be successful in this role highly desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support- Disability
Minimum 6 months paid work experience in Support Worker roles
Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination doses.
Current Working with Children (WWCC) & NDIS Worker Check.
National Police Check
Drivers Licence
A strong sense of professional boundaries.
Flexible in accepting shifts in a very short notice.
