**About The Role**
Casual Disability Support Worker

**Responsibilities of the role include;**
- Supporting the participant with their personal care needs
- Encouraging their involvement within the community
- Assisting them to achieve their goals (e.g. getting more involved in community activities, learning life skills, trying new things, etc.)

**About You**
- Interest supporting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work positively with people with a disability to achieve their goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, quick to respond, and focused on achieving outcomes
- Ability to work flexible hours including morning, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Demonstrated experience with personal care, medications, hoists & manual handling
- Experience working with people who use behaviours of concern within identified Behaviour Intervention plans (preferred but not essential)

**Essential Requirements**
- Current driver's licence with registered, comprehensively insured, and reliable vehicle
- Smart phone
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Working With Children Check (Paid)
- NDISWC (ask the office if you are unsure)
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current National Police Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $41.53 - $60.00 per hour
