**About the Role**

As a Driver Trainer, your main responsibilities will include:

- Support, engage, and empower bus drivers through structured onboarding, training & education procedures.
- Deliver practical bus driver induction training for all bus drivers.
- Develop, implement & execute an "On the Job" Training program for probationary Driving Personnel.
- Conduct periodic Verification of Competency (VOC) examinations and Refresher Training with driving personnel to ensure safety, appearance, and service standards meet expectations.
- Support Driving Personnel in reaching Improvement Objectives in support of any performance management regime.
- Provide relevant information to drive the cohort's behaviours and support the logistics manager in carrying out toolbox meetings.
- Develop and promote a safety-conscious culture within the driving group.
- Assist Operations Coordinators with daily planning/allocation of drivers and vehicles as required.
- Direct drivers on route planning, locations, vehicle types and any operational queries.
- Act as a site supervisor and coordinate vehicles, drivers, and passengers at large passenger movements.
- Perform the duties of a bus and coach's driver as required.

**Skills, Experience, & Qualifications**
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced Bus/ Coach driving capabilities and expertise.
- Minimum Certificate III Training & Assessment or equivalent.
- Western Australian HR Driver's License.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team environment.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
