We currently have an exciting short-term opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join a unique project with a blue-chip mining client in Port Hedland

Job Requirements

This is a contract role anticipated to run for 3–6 months, with a 7 days / 7 nights / 14 days off FIFO-style roster. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering critical driver training in one of WA's most important mining regions.

Job Responsibilities

To be successful in this job you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Train Driving
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
  • Previous experience as a qualified Locomotive Driver Trainer
  • Strong understanding of rail safety and compliance standards
  • Ability to mentor and train to a high standard in line with company and client expectations
  • Able to pass a CAT 1 rail medical, drug and alcohol screening, and police clearance
  • Current driver's licence
