**Receptionist - Casual & Part-Time Positions Available**

Sydney Veterinary Emergency Specialists is a vibrant 24-hour multidisciplinary hospital with a talented team of vets, nurses, and support staff, all working together to provide the best possible care for our clients and their pets. Located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, we are currently looking for Receptionists to join our team on both a casual and part-time basis.

**Some of the duties will include**:

- Greeting and managing clients and patients
- Answering busy phone lines and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians and nurses
- Managing client and patient data
- Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management
- Cleaning reception and consult areas

**The ideal applicant will have**:

- A strong professional background in providing outstanding customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant and professional phone manner
- Well-developed computer skills, including fast typing and accurate data entry
- A willingness to go above and beyond to deliver the best possible care to our clients
- Genuine empathy and understanding for people in difficult situations
- A strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and time management
- A commitment to working well within a team and supporting co-workers across all areas of the hospital
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement
- The ability to stay calm and work well under pressure, especially in emergency situations
- Availability to work on a rotating roster
- A love of animals, great and small - including wildlife
