This permanent role supports all operational areas, surface and underground mining, processing, maintenance, exploration, stores and logistics.
The ideal candidate will be technically capable, highly visible in the field and passionate about delivering strong safety outcomes across the site.This position is an 8/6 roster.About the RoleReporting to the Alternate Health and Safety Manager, you will:Provide hands-on health and safety support across all operational areas.Lead and contribute to high-quality incident investigations, including ICAM investigations.Prepare, manage and submit monthly Work Health and Safety Performance Reports, including reports to regulatory authorities.Lead site inspections and audits as part of the site management programs.Develop and implement safety systems, processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.Manage the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with the WHS Act 2020, WHS (Mining) Regulations 2022 and relevant guidelines and best practices.Engage with personnel at all levels to promote a positive safety culture.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have the following:Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or higher).
