The
Coordinator Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW)
will support the
Manager, HSW
in developing and implementing the Bank's health, safety, and wellbeing framework. This includes providing support and advice on risk management, incident response, HSW reporting, and contributing to proactive engagement and well-being initiatives to minimize risks to employees, contractors, visitors, and customers.

What you will be doing
Implement the Bank's HSW strategy and annual plan to reduce risks and ensure compliance.
Maintain and improve HSW systems and processes, including integrating Qudos WHS into the Bank's systems.
Promote a proactive HSW culture through risk awareness and injury prevention, building strong partnerships.
Assist in hazard identification, risk assessment, and consultation with HSW Committee members.
Monitor incident and risk registers, ensuring timely reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions.
Support workers' compensation, injury management, and return-to-work processes.
Assist with wellbeing programs and governance activities.
Provide administrative support, including reporting, meeting coordination, and acting as Secretary to the HSW Committee.
Contribute to developing and reviewing HSW policies and procedures.
Manage HSW inspection plans across sites, ensuring documentation and compliance.
Review first aid risk assessments, monitor training, and coordinate bookings.

Initiative and problem-solving skills, with proactive communication.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Qualifications and experience in a similar HSW role.
Experience with safety audits and safety management systems.
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Effective communication, including report writing.
Risk assessment and incident reduction skills.
Current driver's license and willingness to travel.
Dedication to safety culture and timely HSW support.
