Head Of Data Science And Innovation

**How will I help?**

**Role focus**:

- Develop and implement advanced analytics and innovation strategies/roadmap that align with the CBB's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and deployment of predictive modelling, machine learning, and other advanced analytics techniques to support business decision-making.
- Drive innovation within CBB by identifying new opportunities, exploring emerging technologies, and implementing new solutions that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with Lines of Businesses and business units to identify and prioritize opportunities for data science and innovation projects.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Management and Delivery of data science roadmap for CBB Division.
- Build and lead a team of data scientists and innovation experts to deliver on data science and innovation roadmap.
- Establish appropriate process and tooling across the Division required for data science
- To maintain a forward view on the data science roadmap and secure funding
- Work with the business to ensure resources are prioritised to work on high value activity
- Participate in Division/Group data domain councils/forums
- Motivate, develop and retain team members, provide opportunities for growth
- Providing thought leadership on data science and innovation trends and best practices.

**What do I need?**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or innovation roles, with a track record of delivering business value through innovative solutions.
- Proven experience in managing and leading data science and innovation teams.
- Strong technical expertise in data science techniques, including predictive modelling, machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Knowledge of the banking industry and financial products and services will be helpful.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box to identify new opportunities and solutions.
