We are currently working in partnership with a State Government department. They are looking to recruit an AO3 ICT Purchasing Officer on a 6-month contract with extension.
About the role:
Do you have excellent time management skills and work well in fast paced environments? In this role you will be part of the Digital Services & Information Technology branch of this State Government department where career progression is encouraged.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process requests for purchasing ICT equipment needs from business areas across the department consistent with the expectations of the Branch and proper process.
- Liaise with business areas and vendors regarding purchasing and requirements.
- Ensure monthly invoices are paid on time.
About you:
- Previous government experience and ICT or ICT Procurement knowledge highly desired
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to contribute to and work as part of a team and prioritise and coordinate tasks effectively to achieve timeframes and a focus on service delivery
