(NMHS). This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment (76 hours per fortnight).
Responsibilities
This position maintains a high-quality environment for patients, staff and all site users by carrying out refrigeration and air conditioning works and maintenance for all plant, equipment, services, facilities and buildings across NMHS. The Facilities Management team is responsible for operating and maintaining health assets to ensure they remain functional and can support the delivery of high-quality healthcare to consumers. The team provides services across NMHS facilities including Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group, Mental Health Public Health Dental Services, and Women and Newborn Health Service, and supports tenant management for leased properties.

What you will need
A current Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification and licences.
Experience and skills in operation and maintenance of large-scale HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ability to uphold safety and quality standards in a health service environment.

Eligibility and recruitment process
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential for permanent positions in the public sector. WA Health policies require criminal records screening and integrity checks as part of the appointment process; a working with children check and a pre-employment health assessment may also be required. Referees may be contacted to comment on integrity and ethical behavior. Adverse information will be considered as part of the process.
This process may be used to fill other similar vacancies for up to twelve months. We may also select the next most suitable applicant if the successful applicant declines or vacates the vacancy.
