Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice Job Description">

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Supporting senior technicians in performing routine maintenance and servicing of cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Helping troubleshoot and diagnose issues in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and making necessary repairs.
  • Learning to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications to understand the components and functioning of different systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, and related systems is crucial.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical concepts and an aptitude for technical work will be advantageous.
  • Solid mathematics and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously.
  • Work well with others, be adaptable to change and open to learning from experienced professionals.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Be physically fit, you can expect to do physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and own transport.
