**The role**: As the Test Consultant you will test and implement testing solutions for the delivery of Information Management (IM)/Information Communications Technology (ICT) projects and provide advice to ensure alignment with contemporary IM/ICT frameworks.

**Duties include**:

- Design and improve methodologies to ensure systems can be migrated from a development environment through to implementation within quality assurance guidelines
- Implementation of quality testing methods to align with best practice ICT testing frameworks which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools and standards
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing and provide sound advice and recommendations on any aspect of test planning and execution
- Review technical and business design requirements
- Defines risk based and requirements-based testing scope to ensure solution is fit for purpose
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including mentoring and leading team members providing peer reviews, training, and support
- Provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on projects to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables.

Are you right for this role?To be successful in this role you will have experience in the development of test plans, test summary reports and test cases and ensuring compliance testing and technical policies standards and procedures within a large complex IM/ICT program/projects(s) environment.

**Furthermore, you will demonstrate experience in the following**:

- Testing, including experience with testing methodologies and tools for large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s)
- Specifying and developing test scenarios to ensure compliance with Queensland Health test policy requirements
- Providing expert advice in relevant testing techniques and methods and tools for large scare complex organisations
- Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with experience in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
