Job Title: Windows SOE & Endpoint Management Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Windows SOE and Endpoint Management Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining standard Windows SOE images aligned to ISM / Essential Eight / ISO 27001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build standard Windows SOE images aligned to ISM / Essential Eight / ISO 27001 standards.
Package and deploy applications via Intune (and/or Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM).
Manage Intune/Endpoint policies, compliance, Conditional Access, baselines, Autopilot, app and update rings.
Lifecycle and patching: Provisioning, configuration, monthly patching, and Windows version upgrades with minimal disruption.
Security controls: BitLocker, Defender policies, hardening and secure baselines mapped to public-sector standards.
Automation: PowerShell to automate builds, config, and remediation.
Troubleshooting: L3 escalation for SOE, application, and deployment issues; clear runbooks/docs.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams; support non-Windows endpoints where required.
Requirements:
5+ years in Windows Endpoint Management/SOE engineering.
Proven SOE build, application packaging, and Intune deploying experience; MECM/SCCM a plus.
Strong PowerShell, GPO/baselines, Defender, BitLocker; public-sector compliance exposure (ISM/E8/ISO).
Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation.
Australian Citizen with active NV1 (or higher) security clearance is mandatory.

Rate: $800–$900/day inc. super.
