**About the role**

As a Support Worker in our team, you will be supported to work beside individuals to build their capacity with daily living skills, assisting with social and recreational activities, implementing and monitoring practices that will promote a healthier lifestyle, empowering participants to help them achieve their goals.

The role will involve working with female participants with complex needs. Some may need assistance with medication prompts, and others may show complex behaviours. Experience and professionalism are highly recommended.

You will be required to work ether in the participant's home, in the community or in one of Calm Tree's Supported Independent Living properties.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centered support to clients with complex and/or challenging needs
- Work with complex participant with Positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) and Restricted Practices (RP)
- Provide transportation support to take participant to appointments, social and community participations so a reliable vehicle will be required.
- Build rapport and collaborate effectively with the participants, their families, friends and care team to achieve positive outcomes
- Be a mentor and encourage individuals to learn and undertake daily living tasks
- Provide personal care and assistance with personal and domestic activities
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
