**Job Description**:

- ** Flexible location**: NSW, QLD or VIC
- Hybrid Role
- Initial 3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Your key focus will be on data modelling/migration, automating manual processes and creating dashboards of the HSE information systems to drive data insights for our leadership teams.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Actioning end user issues and requests in a timely, transparent and customer centred manner.
- Communicating system outages and providing status updates on the resolution of outages.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of information systems to end processes, workflow, data structures, and end user permissions.
- Engaging stakeholders to assess and determine business needs and develop data collection strategy and timelines.
- Developing, constructing, testing and maintaining sound, secure data collection systems to ensure the collection/provision of required information for HSE performance and other business needs.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability.

**About you**

**To ensure your success you will possess**:

- Experience in data analysis, reporting and visualization, using languages and software such as SQL, VBA, and business intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, Power BI, or other)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to organize and synthesise large datasets and use data to identify patterns and problems and formulate solutions
- Experience with structured and unstructured data formats and basic applied statistical techniques
- Experience developing databases for collecting operational, administrative or research data to support business operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, advanced Excel.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Analytics or other technical fields
