**Introduction**:
As the State Manager you would be leading execution of business strategies to achieve budgeted revenue, profit and growth whilst ensuring the company culture, values and ways for working are also a strong focus.
**Description**:
As the leader developing the strategy and following through on the execution this role has amazing scope to drive results for one of the largest areas of our business. Areas of responsibility include:
- Responsible for tracking, forecasting and driving financial performance
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of senior leaders including regular one to one and group meetings
- Focus on compliance and safety in operations, implementing remedial plans as required
- Regular travel to sites across NSW and the ACT
- Leading and encouraging initiatives to ensure the states remain innovative and flexible
- Focussing on customer expectations and how your team can meet and exceed including a customer retention focus
- Collaborate with support departments such as HR, Procurement and IT on initiatives
- Work in partnership with business development on tenders and new client meetings
**Skills and Experiences**:
You will have a number of years experience leading in a Hospitality environment operations leadership role along with a demonstrable skill set in catering or a related culinary area. Qualifications in business or hospitality are favourable although not required.
As a strong leader you will be able to demonstrate that you have:
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiation
- An understanding of contract management and pricing structures
- The ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and collaborate across the business
- Good judgement and ability to make strategic decisions
- Robust time management and planning capabilities
