**Due to the nature of the role applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance.**

This role will involve data migration from legacy systems, assisting with the go-live, and sustainment. Salesforce Service Cloud or Public Sector Cloud knowledge and experience are highly desirable.

The duties include:

- Designs, implements, and maintains complex data engineering solutions to acquire and prepare data.
- Carries out complex data quality checking and remediation.
- Develop an expert understanding of the data model, including validations, for the new Salesforce solution build by performing knowledge transfer from the build team.
- Assist the data migration team with the preparation of the data migration mapping from the legacy SQL databases to the Salesforce data model.
- Assist the data migration team with merging, cleansing and validating of the SQL database data.
- Assist the data migration team with tool configuration to transform the SQL database data into an appropriate form to be ingested into Salesforce e.g..csv.
- Perform the importing of data into the Salesforce pre-production and production orgs.
- Assist with the go-live of the new Salesforce solutions and transition to BAU sustainment including knowledge transfer to the sustainment support team.
- Ongoing SME for the Salesforce org, sustainment and support and custodian of data health
- New project works expected after 12 months.

**Essential criteria**
- A strong understanding of entity-relationship database design concepts and demonstrated experience designing enterprise-level databases.
- Proven ability to analyse and design enterprise-level databases from business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex queries for SQL Server.
- Experience validating and cleansing data.
- Experience migrating data between SQL Server databases.
- Ability to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data migration patterns, processes, and/or tools.
- Experience migrating data to the Salesforce platform.

**Desirable criteria**
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Service Cloud or Public Sector Cloud knowledge and experience
- Experience with engaging with business areas to understand business process, data and requirements gathering
