As a Functional Specialist - SAP Financials, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing Linfox's SAP Finance and Controlling systems.
You'll partner with business users across Finance, Shared Services, and operations to deliver high-quality application support, functional solutions, and continuous improvements that keep our core systems running smoothly.This is a 12-month fixed-term, on-site position at our Essendon Fields, VIC office.You'll work closely with stakeholders, project managers, architects, and developers to design, configure, and test SAP FI/CO solutions, ensuring functional and technical alignment.Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide first and second-level SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) support to business users.Lead the functional delivery of scalable, reusable, and efficient solutions.Document and analyse business processes, producing business and functional specifications.Configure and support FI/CO modules including GL, Asset Accounting, Profit Centre, and Special Purpose Ledger.Deliver solutions for CO modules including Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Project Systems, and Investment Management.Collaborate with ABAP developers to deliver change requests and enhancements.Prepare test scenarios, use cases, and conduct unit/integration testing.Actively contribute to annual SAP patching projects and other continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with Linfox change management and governance processes.Are you the one?
We're looking for a customer-focused SAP professional with strong functional expertise in Finance and Controlling.
You'll be comfortable translating business needs into SAP solutions, working with both technical teams and business users to deliver high-quality outcomes.The ideal candidate can demonstrate:Certification in SAP Financials (essential).
At least 4 years' hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO.Advanced skills in SAP FI (GL, Asset Accounting, Profit Centre, SPL) and CO (Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Projects, Investment Management).
Full project lifecycle experience and a track record supporting SAP FI/CO applications.Strong communication and documentation skills.Knowledge of SAP workflows and integration with MM, SD, PM, and LE modules.Exposure to Enterprise Services, SAP PI/PO, BI/BO, Fiori, HANA, and security (advantageous).
Experience in process analysis, continuous improvement, and small project delivery (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with confidence and initiative.Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.Proactive approach to adopting new technologies and challenging the status quo.Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and technical teams.Resilience and adaptability when dealing with ambiguity and change.At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive and high-performing workplace where everyone can thrive.
