**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Mechanical Engineering Technician** to join our team, providing expert **on-site and remote technical support** for machine tool equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for **diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining** a variety of high-precision machinery while ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and technical expertise.

**Responsibilities**
- A full range of repairs to equipment, from **minor breakdown service to full machine overhauls**
- Provide **service and customer support** during field visits and in-house
- Manage, facilitate, or support **on-site installation, repair, maintenance, customer training, and test tasks**
- Diagnose **errors or technical problems** and determining proper solutions
- Collaborate with **team members on projects and sharing information across the organisation**
- Develope **documentation to support operational activities**
- Understand **customer requirements** and making appropriate recommendations
- Build **positive relationships** with customers
- Ensure **timely communication and reporting** to customers, Benson Management, and suppliers
- Comply with **all legal and company safety, health, and environmental requirements** in accordance with best practices, including but not limited to vehicle and machinery operations
- Adhere to **all company procedures and protocols**

**Requirements**:

- Proven **field service experience, with emphasis on precision turning and grinding machines**:

- Ability to **troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment**:

- Experience with **mechatronic systems, including electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC and mechanics**:

- Strong **written and verbal communication skills**:

- Flexibility to **adapt to changing schedules and work environments**:

- **Technical degree or certification** in mechatronics, electronics, or mechanical fitting & machining (or at least **5 years of relevant experience**)
- Strong ability to **prioritize tasks and meet deadlines**:

- Ability to work efficiently in **fast-paced, demanding situations**
