We're seeking an experienced Tyre Superintendent to lead the tyre operations for our heavy earthmoving fleet on site. If you know mining tyres inside and out and have the leadership skills to match, this is your opportunity to step into a high-impact role and make your mark.

We are the mining services contractor for Bravus' Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland.

Your new role
- Oversee all tyre maintenance for large mining equipment, ensuring safety and compliance
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and replacements to minimise downtime
- Manage inventory, procurement and budgets for tyre operations
- Lead and mentor a team of tyre technicians
- Maintain detailed records and reporting on tyre performance and costs
- Implement continuous improvements and adopt new technologies
- Ensure full compliance with site safety and environmental requirements

What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role within mining or heavy earthmoving
- In-depth knowledge of tyre maintenance, compliance and reporting for mining equipment
- Relevant certifications in tyre maintenance or related field
- Experience with tyre management software and maintenance scheduling
- Strong leadership, mentoring and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and cost-efficiency
- Budget management and inventory control experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
- QLD C Class Driver's Licence
