Overview
Master Scheduler – Enterprise Technology Programs – Utilities Sector – Initial 12-month contract (extensions highly likely)
Are you interested in joining an organisation dedicated to providing essential services to individuals and communities in remote regions? Our client is a well-respected entity delivering major transformation initiatives and is currently seeking a highly experienced Master Scheduler to oversee integrated schedules across multiple technology projects. This role will play a critical part in ensuring delivery timelines, dependencies and milestones are tracked, communicated and aligned across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across 5–6 concurrent technology projects.
Coordinate project dependencies, milestones and critical paths to ensure accurate forecasting and delivery.
Partner with Program Managers, PMO and executives to provide transparent reporting on project status, risks and impacts.
Conduct schedule analysis and scenario modelling to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
Drive consistency and discipline in scheduling practices across all project streams.
Support executive-level projects within a portfolio valued at over $100M.
The role will be offered as an
initial 12-month Day Rate
contract
with a very flexible hybrid WFH agreement. There will also be a requirement to travel to Darwin with the rest of the team for 1 week every month, though all costs and allowances are covered.
Qualifications / Skills
15+ years' proven success as a Master Scheduler at the enterprise program level.
Strong expertise in MS Project and Jira for integrated schedule management.
Experience overseeing complex technology projects and large-scale programs of work.
Proven ability to manage scheduling across multiple streams and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
Background in the utilities or regulated industries (highly regarded).
