Responsibilities
Acting as a trusted technology advisor, providing technical leadership and guidance.
Developing technical plans and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.
Managing technology change processes, including configuration management and change control.
Performing systems engineering tasks in line with safety and system management policies.
Supporting projects to deliver against specified requirements and ensuring system integrity.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Engineering and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (e.g., RPEQ).
Significant experience in applying systems engineering processes to complex systems.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Experience in aviation safety management systems and knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 171 (desirable).
Highly desirable: Experience in designing, maintaining, and supporting air traffic management systems, particularly in VHF, UHF, and HF communications domains.
