Toowoomba Community Care is a not-for-profit community-based organisation focused on delivering services to enhance the quality of life for people who are aged, frail,people with a disability and their care givers.Toowoomba Community Care is accredited to provide the services you need, supporting you to stay at home.Toowoomba Community Care is a registered NDIS provider offering Plan Management, Support Co-ordination and Service Delivery.We are always looking for people with a genuine passion to help others.Whether you have 1 hour or 100 hours free, you can make a difference.At Brightside on Victoria I have found my new friends I would recommend Brightside for anyone looking to find fun, friendship, and independence in a supportive environment.Jill Bloomer, Brightside Guest A wonderful place to spend your day Brightside is a wonderful place to spend your day.
They have great activities every day, the staff are exceptional at their job and are very friendly and helpful.
At Brightside we celebrate the special days throughout the year which is loads of fun.Before I came to Brightside I was becoming quite lonely during the day.
My wife was worried about me, but since attending Brightside I have made lots of new friends and learnt lots of new skills and games.
I attend Brightside two days a week but in 2020 hopefully I will be attending three days a week.
I feel happy and my days are no longer lonely.Reece Helping me improve physically and mentally I attend the day respite centre and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
However, I have improved both physically and mentally from the 1:1 social outings I do with Toowoomba Community Care.
My Support Worker gives me great encouragement which lifts my self-esteem, people in my life are commenting on the difference in me.
It's also a great benefit to have someone to help me with my cleaning, and also enjoy a great conversation while they are in my home.
Thank you to the helpful staff The staff are very helpful to all.
They have been wonderful to me with my home care, they help with personal care, cleaning and also shopping.
I don't know where I would be without them.
They are also marvellous with the daily respite.
I couldn't wish for more.Brightside on Victoria has given us all a very enjoyable time.
The visiting entertainers are always great and the company of the other guests is great also.
