**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a experience, proactive economist to join our Brisbane Economics & Property (E&P) team. You will have the opportunity to be part of the broader national E&P team by undertaking research for consulting projects in urban economics, asset strategy and ESG fields applied to residential, retail, commercial, industrial and mixed-use sectors across the state and nationally.
The role will be supported by highly experienced Directors whilst delivering high quality research, modelling, report writing and managing projects.
**You will be**:
- Assist with forecasting, project budgeting and financial management.
- Preparing weekly timesheets and input to monthly accounts.
- Ability to achieve revenue targets that comprise both Personal Fees and Work Under Management, through strong service delivery and project management.
- Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with decision makers;
- Nurture and develop individual staff members, through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Support Directors to achieve 'whole-of-office' business plan outcomes, in conjunction with other Business Units.
- Generate new work and sustained and profitable business performance, through the maintenance of, and building upon, existing and potential client relationships and professional networks, across a range of industry sectors.
**About You**:
- A professional with at least 2 years relevant economic analysis, consulting,
- or property sector experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Economics, Statistics, Business/Finance or related discipline.
- An understanding of research processes, using both primary and secondary data sources.
- Able to use and develop excel-based economic and financial models.
- Experience in Designing and implementing forward-looking, innovative solutions that utilise internal expertise and skills of a broad cross-unit team of specialists.
- Ability to successfully manages client priorities and expectations.
- Demonstrated the ability to prioritises and manages the competing demands of multiple assignments and/ or projects within agreed timeframe and budget.
- Sound written and oral communication skills.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and developing new skills.
