This Federal Government agency based in the Central Canberra is looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant Director Media. With a new change of direction this client is really for experienced Media professional to join their flexible and dynamic team.

**Your new role**
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with internal and external
- Develop and implement meaningful and high-impact communication strategies
- Media monitoring capabilities and monitoring of emerging issues
- Liaising with journalists and responding to media enquires Writing talking points, speeches and fact checking

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience working in the media area
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Baseline clearance is preferred
