**Your Role**
Here at Tribe Canning Vale you will provide innovative leadership in managing a high-quality education and care service that is contextual to the community and the values of families.
To uphold the highest of standards, and exceed National Quality Standards through Action Research, Contemporary Theories, and Innovative programs alongside the leadership and operations team.
**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**
- Previous experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor with excellent teaching leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of and commitment to high quality early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and inclusive practices.
- Excellent understanding and commitment to contemporary Early Childhood Pedagogy and research.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with effective skills in conflict resolution and implementing performance review processes.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements applicable to the Early Childhood industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in managing operational budgets and utilisation.
- Sound computer skills

- Demonstrates initiative and confidence in decision making, with the capacity to work with mínimal supervision.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and show flexibility.
**Position Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, which meets the Authorised Supervisor requirements under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Current Working with Children check.
- Current First Aid to be updated every three (3) years.
- Current CPR to be updated every 12 months.
- Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management to be updated every three (3) years.
- Child Protection ( Willing to Obtain)
- Food Safety and Allergy Aware ( Willing to Obtain)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $38.59 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Early childhood education: 2 years (preferred)
