**Doggy Daycare Supervisor**

Pet Resorts Australia provide first class accommodation and services for cats and dogs, priding ourselves in quality customer care.

We also offer pet transport along with several other great services.Our fantastic team is on the search for a hardworking and passionate individual to join our very successful team.

**The position will be not limited to;**

Socialising multiple dogs, match groups according to behaviour and personality, monitor groups for behaviour and health changes, cleaning animal enclosures, exercising and providing enrichment and husbandry for animals (primarily dogs and cats), feeding and general care for the animals, driving pet transport vans and office duties to name a few.

**Available vacancies at this time are as follows**:

- **Doggy Daycare Supervisor**_, Casual Position - up to 5 shifts per week that may increase at peak times. You must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and throughout every NSW school holiday period._
- It is not enough to just "love" animals, you must also have a high level of experience within a similar industry.
- Essential pre-requisites for these roles are:
Teamwork
- You must be able to work in a team environment, one where all staff members are respectful, communicate well and are able to depend on each other
Communication & Customer Service - Must have sound customer service experience along with exceptional communication skills
Physical ability / Time management - This role is physically demanding, must have a "can do" attitude and be prepared to work in all weather conditions. The position is fast paced and requires everyone to be able to manage their time and priorities to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Extensive canine behavioural knowledge
Must be comfortable with handling multiple dogs with varying sizes and temperaments.
Superior customer service skills
Current driver's license and willingness to drive our dedicated Pet Taxi as needed
Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (inc. Xmas day and New Year)
Australian citizen or permanent resident
Desirable skills and experience include:12 months or more of experience within an animal related industry
Qualification in Companion Animal Services (or similar) OR large animal/farm experience
Dog training experience
Animal husbandry
Strong understanding of reading & understanding dog behaviour
Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures
Excellent face to face and written communication skills
Ability or scope to learn reservation programs
Confident driving a transport van around the city
Aptitude for training and learning
Ability to perform unsupervised as well as part of a team

**Salary**: $21.94 - $31.07 per hour
