**About the role**
The Manager RI Research role is a new position integral to the continued development of Cbus' internal ESG research capabilities across key thematics such as climate change, biodiversity, social factors and other emerging ESG issues in a dynamic environment. The role will contribute directly to internal research, play a leading role in the development of frameworks and implementation roadmaps, and manage and oversee projects across the small Responsible Investment research team.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand the regulatory landscape, identify best practice, and to develop and implement appropriate responses to key ESG issues. The role will also contribute to and support Cbus' advocacy and policy work across the ESG landscape and will be involved in the continued uplift of Cbus' reporting and disclosures.

As a key function within this collaborative and supportive team that strives for continuous improvement, the role will also be involved in implementing the Responsible Investment teams' broader strategic program of work.

It is imperative you have proven experience in senior ESG or research roles, relevant responsible investment or legal, human rights, climate change experience would all be advantageous. A track record of translating strategy into practical actions and measurable goals at an individual and team level. You are a self-motivated individual with a high degree of natural curiosity and a positive and agile approach.
