This isn't your classic, 'after travelling the world together, two friends decided' or 'I found myself constantly wanting' story.

We aren't founders, we are family, and this is our labour-of-love story. The Hutchins are six zesty humans, sharing the same last name and admiration for the perfect drink to accompany Sunday's big breakfast, Monday's morning rush, Thursday's I-can't-have-another-coffee-pick-me-up and Saturday afternoon's aperitif.

But, beyond sharing a last name and love for Juice, we share an unwavering and unbridled passion. xpressed would only exist if our 'good' wasn't just in the consumables; what our fellow juice-loving-mouth-havers needed was neutrality in wellness, social responsibilities to depend on, values that tied a community together, and a Vision that inspired hope in our humanity.

**YOUR ROLE**:
A juice maker typically begins a shift by ensuring all supplies are available and ready; this includes taking stock of all equipment, fruit, vegetables, nuts, powders and any other food product required to create our extraordinary beverages. Then, before opening the establishment for the day, the juice makers will be briefed on the orders for the day.

The juicer will then wash, peel and prepare all produce used and organise it accordingly. Once the pressing has finished for the day, the juice maker discards all partially used food products and properly seals and stores the rest, following company policies and local, state and federal food safety regulations. The juice maker also takes note of any inventory that is running low, alerting the shift manager so it may be replaced before the next shift starts.
- Demonstrated experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment, preferably in an industrial/commercial kitchen.
- You will need to perform duties which include intermittent lifting, bending and lots of physical movement. You will be required to be at your workstation and on your feet for the entire shift.
- Support waste reduction and sustainability of the kitchen. Support stock management, rotation, stocktaking.
- Operating commercial kitchen machinery, with training provided.
- Setting up and packing down each area for each shift. We require you to wash dishes and equipment throughout the day. It might not be the best part of the job, but clean work areas and utensils are essential; your attitude to each task must be keen and willing.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication - our team works in close quarters with sizeable machines and sharp utensils, so clear and constructive communication is KEY in the Pressery.
- Proactive, strong work ethic with an eager "yes I can" mindset.
- **The full-time position requires the applicant to be flexible yet highly dependable from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.**

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Must have an Australian driver's license.
- Someone who is very hygienic and clean.
- Someone who can stay autonomous to their set daily tasks whilst also being agile to the rest of the team's requests when needing assistance.
- We ENCOURAGE a thriving work-lifestyle balance. Our pressery is only a few minutes away from Burleigh Beach, Tallebudgera Creek and bustling James Street - we urge walks and friendly catch-ups in your break. The more notice you give us about time-off, holidays, late/early starts and finishes, the more accomodating we can be.
- An interest in nutrition or dietetics is EXTREMELY welcomed; we want everyone at xpressed to be passionate about wellbeing.
