Our client is a Melbourne based medical device company specializing in Software-Based Technology to improve critical surgeries, radiosurgery treatments and operating room efficiency. The company's software-based technology spans across the following surgical disciplines; Neurosurgery, Spine, Trauma, ENT & CMF and Intraoperative imaging.

They are seeking an Application Consultant to join the highly energetic support team based in Sydney This person will be a team player and be capable of handling technical repairs and maintenance on imaging equipment during neuro and spinal procedures.

**Position Overview**:
Responsibilities include:

- Educate, train, and provide on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and hospital personnel on the use of the company's products in the Image Guided Surgery field across the following surgical disciplines:

- Neurosurgery
- Spine
- Trauma
- ENT & CMF
- Intraoperative imaging
- Digital OR solutions
- Perform system installations
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
- Timely and efficient completion of all required documentation (service reports, acceptance protocols etc.)
- Develop and execute an adequate sales strategy together with Area Sales Representative
- Proactively identify accounts that are eligible for software updates and perform installations
- Perform clinical demonstrations and trials
- Visit all assigned warranty and service contract customers
- Report and document complaints and product enhancement requests
- Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote products and services

Desired experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Biomedical Engineer / Field Service Engineering experience
- Previous experience working in operating theatre during surgery would be advantageous
