Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of secure coding principles, threat modeling, and DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies across the organization, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct thorough application threat assessments, code reviews, and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Manage and deploy application security tools, such as SAST, DAST, and SCA, ensuring seamless integration with DevOps workflows.
  • Provide expert consultation services to development teams on application security risks, threats, and remediation strategies.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance security scanning workflows and support continuous monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles, with a strong focus on application security.
  • In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, SDLC, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AppSec tools, including Veracode, Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Burp Suite, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and tool integration.
  • Experience working with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, and others.
