**Hours of Work of the Role**

17.5 hours

**Description**
- The ability to support the implementation of a high-quality early childhood program appropriate to the developmental needs and interests of the children attending the program
- Ensuring the program reflects the service's philosophy and is consistent with the EYM's policies
- Demonstrated knowledge of the VEYLDF / EYLF and the NQS
- Participate in undertaking observations of individual children and share this information with parents as appropriate
- The ability to effectively communicate with children, families, staff and professionals
- Demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication skills

**Qualifications**
- Applicants must hold an approved Certificate 3 Qualification
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold and maintain First Aid qualification and have current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
- Complete annual Child Protection Training
- Be committed to continuous learning and professional development
