**The role**

We currently have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our NATA accredited team on a permanent full-time basis working in the Narangba Laboratory.

This is a unique chance for you to expand your sampling and testing skills and gain practical hands-on experience throughout multiple Quarry's and projects across the Southeast Queensland area. This position will see you gain exposure to the compliance testing of concrete, aggregates, sands and road base. Your primary duties will include a broad range of field sampling, testing, equipment calibration and computer-based analysis.

This position requires a Monday to Friday roster with some out of hours and weekend work.

**Responsibilities**
- Sample and test construction materials in the lab and the field.
- Analyse and report accurate results
- Adhere to procedures and work systems.
- Perform equipment calibration and basic maintenance.
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Experience in a similar sampling and testing role (highly regarded)
- Experience with Australian and Main Roads testing standards (desirable)
- Australian driver license
- Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
- Construction Industry White Card (desirable)
- Strong analytical thinking skills
