**Brickworks is seeking a Machine Operator to join our newly formed and growing Advanced Cladding System business**
***
**In this role you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating mechanical equipment involved in the manufacture of building products.**

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Set up, operate and clean mechanical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
- Set controls, fix attachments and materials to prepare for operation.
- Perform basic problem solving and diagnosis of machine issues and escalate non-routine issues to maintenance team for resolution.
- Assist and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives.

**Success Requirements**
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery.
- Forklift Licence.
- Strong skill in problem solving and fault-finding activities to identify and resolve machine issues/breakdowns.
- Strong ability to operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
