Our client is a well-established, market-leading civil contractor seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Site Supervisor to join their expanding team.
Their services span multiple industry sectors including building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
You will contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
Project types include demolition, excavation, cut and fill, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, landscaping, site remediation, and rehabilitation.
Typical project values range from $2.5m to $25m, with potential to exceed $30m.
This role is site-based in the Hunter region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervising crews, plant, machinery, and subcontractors on site.
Leading the production, support, and delivery of projects in line with time, cost, quality, and compliance requirements.
Programming daily site works.
Coordinating employees, subcontractors, and equipment.
Providing advice, direction, and support to project staff.
Ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 5 to 15+ years of experience on civil projects, with bulk earthworks experience essential.
Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate.
Strong skills in planning and scheduling.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
High level of organization and time management skills.
Strong computer and paperwork skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
