**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a well-oiled team of network operators. As a Network Operator you will operate the existing Defence High Frequency Communication System (DHFCS) to provide communications support to the ADF and Allied platforms and support the implementation and operation of the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communication System (EDHFCS). In the role you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring, engineering and operating voice and data circuits over the High Frequency spectrum
- Operating cryptographic keying equipment
- Maintaining 12-hour rotational shift

**About you**

You will have the drive to work within an proactive team in a 24/7 operational environment. Previous experience in the Defence industry or with communication systems will be highly regarded. Due to program requirements, it is imperative that you hold, at a minimum, a current NV-1 defence security clearance.
