As an Energy Portfolio Specialist, you will be an instrumental part of their dynamic team, responsible for managing and optimising our client's energy portfolios. Your expertise and analytical prowess will be vital in crafting tailored energy strategies to meet their unique needs and goals. Through data analysis and market insights, you will guide our client in making well-informed decisions to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse and interpret energy consumption data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of their energy requirements.
- Develop customised energy management strategies that align with the specific needs of the company, sustainability targets, and regulatory obligations.
- Stay abreast of energy market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide timely and accurate advice.
- Recommend and implement energy efficiency measures, renewable energy solutions, and demand-side management initiatives.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide tailored risk management strategies to mitigate potential market fluctuations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and performance evaluations, presenting key findings in a clear and accessible manner.
- Engage in strategic discussions with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of energy solutions across various projects.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor for all energy-related matters.

**Key Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in energy portfolio management or energy consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of the energy industry, including electricity and gas markets, regulatory frameworks, and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with energy modelling software and demand response programs is advantageous.
