The Role
Lindsay Transport is currently seeking Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our Coffs Harbour workshop.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading first class transportation company and play a key part in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses every day to meet their logistics and transportation needs.
Reliability is the cornerstone in transport and to ensure reliability we make sure our fleet is maintained to the highest level.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
Repairing, replacing, maintaining, and diagnosing a wide range of company vehicles, including prime movers, rigids, and trailers
Completing repairs safely and efficiently
Servicing vehicles in line with our company maintenance schedule
Assisting with major repairs, including rebuilds, midlife servicing, and brake/bearing overhauls
Accurately completing all documentation related to fleet maintenance and repairs
Attending to breakdowns on a rotating roster (if available)

About You
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have
A Mechanical Trade qualification
Established experience post-apprenticeship in heavy vehicle mechanics
Strong expertise in repairs, overhauls, and diagnostics
Experience working on prime movers and heavy vehicle trailers (Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW highly regarded)
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Clear communication skills and a strong work ethic
