**CSSD Instrument Technician**
- 24 hour / 7 days per week rotating roster
- Part time and Full time positions available
- Rotate through all areas of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)
- RMH are seeks an experienced Instrument Technician who has completed Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation, to work a busy trauma hospital. Our department is 24 hours, 7 days per week rotating roster, and also processes for other hospitals including Peter Mac, and others.
- The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
- We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our CSSD team, in both part time and full time positions.

**Your Opportunity**:

- Collect, clean and decontaminate reusable and semi-critical medical equipment used by the operating suite and clinical units, on a daily basis.
- Load and unload ultrasonic instrument washers, dryers and sterilisers according to instructions.
- Work co-operatively within the team to ensure the needs of our patients and their families and carers are met in accordance with the The Royal Melbourne Hospital values

**About You**:

- Hold Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation
- Minimum of 3 months experience as an Instrument Technician
- Posses a sound knowledge of AS 4187. Ensuring that clinical practice is evidence based and responsive to stakeholder requirements
