Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Core Trading Technology team.
The successful candidate will be involved in the analysis, design and development of business-critical applications in a Front Office trading environment.
This software includes a combination of server-side systems and user-interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Analysis, design and development of business-critical applications using C#.
Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
Committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies.
Continuous improvement of the capability of the Core Trading Technology team and applications (through technology, automation and other means).
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
5+ years of C# experience in server-side systems (ideally with multi-threading) as well as client side development.
Previous WPF experience is an advantage.
Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript. Previous experience with ReactJS and TypeScript is an advantage.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
An experienced developer with knowledge of: design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, user-interface development with experience on both the client & server side.
Experience of real time applications would be advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of the full software development life-cycle.
