The role The Advisor will assist with providing industrial relations, human resource and employee relations advisory and support services through a cultural lens when engaging with stakeholders across Queensland Health and externally. This role will also assist to manage emergent industrial matters and key projects.
A key responsibility will be supporting the delivery of initiatives arising from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 1) 2019 (A&TSIHW EB1), and to support implementation of any replacement certified agreement.

**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:

- a genuine desire to work in partnership across the system to improve health equity and outcomes for Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce industrial relations agenda.
- ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations.
- ability to play a key role in delivery of public sector Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations services.
- achievement in providing advisory and/or support services to senior stakeholders on a range of human resources or policy matters.
- well-developed communication and oral presentation skills including the ability to write quality reports, briefs and correspondence tailored to the level of knowledge, skill and experience of the audience.
