About the role
The Commercial Analyst will work with a collaborative team of analysts based in our Mayfield office to provide divisional support across accounting, budgeting, and forecasting to meet the periodic reporting requirements within the Wire business.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include:
Prepare weekly cashflow forecast and identify areas for improvement based on the current forecast accuracy
Coordinate site-specific month-end accounting functions within defined timeframes
Prepare and distribute monthly reporting pack for the Wire Business
Coordinate the annual budget process through the consolidation of quantitative and qualitative information
Assist in the collection, analysis, and presentation of market data to support product decisions as required
Run analysis of key cost drivers with a view to identify performance improvement opportunities and initiatives
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and has the ability to adapt to changing structures, processes, information, and/or technologies.
You will also have:
Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
Strong commercial acumen and eagerness to learn
Experience within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment highly regarded
Experience with Power BI/SAP an added advantage
Advanced Excel modelling skills
