Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of biotech and software, shaping the future of genomics and data-driven healthcare.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our multidisciplinary product team and contribute to the development of a data-driven platform that improves genomic accuracy and clinical diagnostics.
As a key member of our foundational engineering team, you will have a significant influence over product direction, front-end architecture, and technology decisions, driving meaningful change in the field of biotech and software.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement modern, scalable front-end solutions with a strong focus on UI/UX and usability.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and bring data visualisations and insights to life.
Optimise performance and implement best practices in accessibility, maintainability, and code quality.
Contribute to product design discussions and participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions.
Help define and enforce front-end coding standards, architecture, and testing frameworks.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have 5+ years of experience in front-end software development, a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles, and the ability to write clean, well-structured, maintainable code.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and a background or interest in data visualisation, genomics, or scientific applications are also desirable.
