This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining as we are now seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers to join our high-profile Civil Projects on a full-time basis.
The successful candidates will have an extensive background working within the civil industry and will be responsible for assisting with delivering the project to its successful completion.
You'll work closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
To be considered for this position as a Project Engineer you must possess the following as a minimum: Tertiary degree in Engineering or a similar relevant degree Previous experience as a Project Engineer working within the civil industry Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel MS Project/Primavera P6 software experience or equivalent Current Australian driver's licence As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for; but not limited to: Scheduling preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project Managing performance of subcontractors Reviewing all works are carried out as per project quality assurance requirements Ensuring accuracy of financial forecasts in relation to project schedules Reviewing NRW systems and practices to improve efficiency in administration Ensuring projects are completed according to approved plans Preparing, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering tasks Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications Liaising daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements Providing assistance to Senior Project Engineers and site team with technical issues to gain approval for design changes About Us: NRW Civil & Mining is proud to be one of the leading civil and mining contractors in the Australian resources and infrastructure sectors.
