The role of the Principal Advisor, Finance is to work collaboratively with the Financial Controller to lead, develop and manage the finance team with a proactive approach. You will be responsible for assisting the RTA meet its strategic objectives and legislative requirements by the preparation of financial analysis and reporting for the RTA's management, executive leadership team and external stakeholders.

**To be successful you will need**:

- To hold a current membership with CPA or CA ANZ
- Ability to contribute to the identification and recommendation of opportunities for re-engineering work practices to assist in the efficient and effective operational performance of the Finance team
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to communicate and engage with a diverse client group, to influence the achievement of core business outcomes across the RTA
- High levels of resilience to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and the ability to deliver quality work within defined timeframes
- Experience leading a team of Finance professionals
