**About the Role**:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced **Tester In Charge **to join the WA Rail team in our Perth office. Frequent site travel is required in this role.

**Responsibilities of the role include (but are by no means limited to);**:

- Functional Testing and commissioning of signalling equipment, including track equipment (point machines, DED's), location cases and SER's.
- Functional testing and commissioning of level crossings
- Interlocking software updates
- Development of Test and Commissioning plans, work packs, test certificates, work instructions and associated documentation for the work package.
- Assign tasks to testing personnel and manage the day to day requirements of the testing teams
- Direct testing and commissioning activities, ensuring all testing and certification has been undertaken to the correct specifications.
- Responsible for offering testing evidence for the work package and ensuring all documentation protocols are followed.
- Site Mobilisation and De-mobilisation
- Supervise testing teams to ensure targets are met in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all signal testing including IWP interlocking, Electrocode tracks, M23A points machines and XP4 Level Crossing meets the design, manufacturer and client specifications
- Ensure Installation and implementation of signalling schemes are carried out in a safe and timely manner

**To be successful in this key role, you must have;**:

- Minimum 10 years relevant experience
- An advanced understanding of the MS Office suite of products (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- The ability and willingness to learn new software packages
- The ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of personnel (managers, supervisors, Technicians)
- The ability to work autonomously
