The Opportunity

As Work Health & Safety (WHS) Leader, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and the continuous improvement of WH&S procedures and process for the Country Road Group, one of Australia's largest lifestyle brand houses.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office in Burnley, this role will suit an analytical, process orientated and people focused WHS professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**Please note this is a 6 month FTC**

What does the role involve?
- Provide leadership and advice to business units on WHS matters.
- Work with the business to support the implementation of a proactive safety culture.
- Support and assist Management to comply with state and territory legislation.
- Participate in the issue resolution process and mediate when required to resolve WHS issues.
- Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Work on safety and wellbeing projects to be implemented.
- Provide feedback and assistance regarding the development and establishment of the WHS Management system.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of WH&S management systems
- Complete WH&S management system audits.
- An active participant in the Wellbeing Program

Who are we looking for?
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety
- Previous experience in a WHS Lead or H&S rep role
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to cope with diverse and multiple stakeholders
- Professional, motivated, competent and trustworthy
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to set priorities, plan work programs and meet strict deadlines
